Wonderful mission, LaVerne. I have neighbors who have adopted track greyhounds for years. Wonderful dogs. I applaud you heartily.

ReplyDeleteAnd you're right - they truly are amazing dogs. I just love how quiet Jazzy is - my neighbour had no idea we had a dog. She saw me walking her one day and asked if thats what I did for a job! Hadn't heard a peep from her - and this was after a year!
The only true problem I've come across with them is that they are addictive : )
Beautiful dog. Love the name. Our cat is Jazzie, also. Jazzie Miles Davis, to be exact.
ReplyDeleteHi Vonnie! We think she's beautiful too. And I bet your cat easily carries off such a name : ) Our poor cat Suki still isn't quite sure what to make of the dog, so she ignores her completely - unless the dog gets too close, and then she'll let her know all about it!
